Emmanuel Smart, CMC is an accomplished entrepreneur, certified management consultant, international speaker, and one of the leading proponents of making products customers want in the 21st century. He is arguably Africa’s leading Sales and Brand Growth Strategist and Product Development Expert. He is the best-selling author of five books:

Smart’s book Letters To My Daughter: A Fathers View On Gender Equality is arguably Africa’s first book on gender equality written by a man. Smart set a big, hairy, audacious goal to distribute audio and written versions of the book to Africa’s 1.2 billion population over the next 10 years completely free of charge. This is part of Smart’s commitment to promote gender equality on the African continent, African communities in the Diaspora, and other races across the globe.

For the past fifteen years, Smart has been instrumental in transforming individuals and businesses through instruction in strategic selling and brand building. Additionally, Smart has designed and implemented sales systems, as well as spearheaded the creation, design, and launch of Nibit Mini Snacks, the fastest-selling cookie brand in Africa.

He emerged overall best in Africa and eleventh in the world at Pioneer’s competition (Pioneer is a search engine for the millions of “Lost Einsteins” — extraordinarily creative people around the world). He is a recipient of the Rotary Award of Excellence in Brand Growth and Product Development, as well as the African Leader of Integrity Merit Award by African Integrity Magazine. He also received the Award of Excellence from the Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) and the Global Excellence Business Leader Award from Maverick Business School, London.

He is a Fellow of The Institute of Management Consultants. He is a professional member of the American Marketing Association and the American Society for Quality. He is a distinguished member of the Rotary Club of Victoria Island and an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Plano West, Texas, USA. He is a member of the Forbes BLK (an invite-only and merit-based community of Black Business Leaders).

Smart has a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management. His scholarly articles are published in the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes Portal, New Americans Magazine, Bella Naija, and Tush Magazine. Smart is family-focused and is blessed with a wife, Orobosa, and two children, Isaac and Brian.
